Coming here is a MUST for anyone staying in San Jose.

Coming here is a MUST for anyone staying in San Jose. Alejandra is a genius mead maker, utilizing the best local ingredients that the farm they operate in has to offer. I was astounded by the complexity, depth, and inventiveness of everything we tried. Truly world class mead, melomel, beer, and more. Her husband Michael gave us a great walkthrough of all of their products and was a pleasure to talk to. We came away with a slate of bottles, a greater understanding of the terroir of CR, and some great ideas for future homebrew recipes. This will be our first stop every time we come back to Costa Rica!

Hey Adam. It was nice meeting you and Ariel yesterday. Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe trip home and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Costa Rica. Cheers!

Wonderful experience

Wonderful educational experience. Premises clean as a whistle. We bought a few bottles to take home. No outside tour because of the rain 😕. We will return for the tour and restaurant.

Thanks for visiting us during the rainy season! Though we aren’t able to do the outside walk when it’s raining, we still have a lot of fun tasting a lot of different meads and beers and talking about how they are made. I’m glad you enjoyed your experience. We hope to see you again!
