Mead Maker's Notes
"EXE is a dry honey wine, melomel style. It was fermented with native yeast, mulberry trees, and jabuticabas from the 2020 harvest. It matured for the last 9 months in toasted arazá seeds, which not only contributed notes of walnuts, wood and roasted, but also notes of leather, mineral and umami, the latter being essential in EXE's unique taste.
With EXE we wanted a product in which the 5 flavors could be appreciated, in a subtle and balanced way. Honey and fruits provide sweetness and acidity. The high tannic content in the skin of the jabuticabas gives us bitterness. The great content of
glutamine and minerals such as potassium in arazá seeds provide us with umami and
slightly salty notes.
Exe has a truly unique flavor and is an example of how we make the most of all the fruit components we use in our production. - Alejandra Araya

Yes, Costa Rica Meadery will ship orders to locations in Costa Rica. If your location is within GAM, we use Correos CR or a courier service. If your location is outside of GAM, we use Parcel or Post, depending on the circumstances. In the event that the delivery services we use are unable to deliver to your location, we will cancel your order and refund your payment.
SHIPPING IS FREE for orders up to 12 kgs to locations in Costa Rica.
For orders weighing more than 12 kgs, contact ventas@costaricameadery.com to coordinate delivery.
Shipments are made from Tuesday to Friday.
Orders before 4:00 pm will be shipped the next day. Orders after 4:00 pm will ship in two days or sooner.
The delivery of your order will be scheduled for the morning or afternoon. We will send you a message via WhatsApp or email when your delivery has been scheduled.
Shipments within the GAM will be delivered within 1-2 business days after order confirmation.
Shipments outside the GAM will be sent by parcel or post and delivered within 2-3 business days after order confirmation.
For online orders, we accept payment by SINPE MÓVIL or Bank Transfer.
