Mead Maker's Notes
“ Et tu Brute is a sparkling mead with passion fruit. It has similarities to a prosecco. This is the second batch we have made. The first batch was awarded a Gold medal at the 2019 Mazer Cup. What makes Et tu Brute special is the use of bitter bee honey from the nectar of the flowers of the botarrama tree. Like the use of four varieties of passion fruit produced on the farm. This mead was fermented with passion fruit and cold macerated in stococa pulp, royal granadilla and passiflora alata. In total it was matured for 18 months. It is an exquisitely aromatic mead. Its aroma and flavor are intense but very balanced. It has a tropical aroma where passion fruits stand out, followed by honey and subtle notes of almonds. In the taste, the bitterness of Botarrama honey welcomes you and opens space for the fruity citrus flavor of passion fruits that will give your palate a show. - Alejandra Araya

Yes, Costa Rica Meadery will ship orders to locations in Costa Rica. If your location is within GAM, we use Correos CR or a courier service. If your location is outside of GAM, we use Parcel or Post, depending on the circumstances. In the event that the delivery services we use are unable to deliver to your location, we will cancel your order and refund your payment.
SHIPPING IS FREE for orders up to 12 kgs to locations in Costa Rica.
For orders weighing more than 12 kgs, contact ventas@costaricameadery.com to coordinate delivery.
Shipments are made from Tuesday to Friday.
Orders before 4:00 pm will be shipped the next day. Orders after 4:00 pm will ship in two days or sooner.
The delivery of your order will be scheduled for the morning or afternoon. We will send you a message via WhatsApp or email when your delivery has been scheduled.
Shipments within the GAM will be delivered within 1-2 business days after order confirmation.
Shipments outside the GAM will be sent by parcel or post and delivered within 2-3 business days after order confirmation.
