Discover the essence of Costa Rica in a bottle! We harvest fruits, herbs, flowers, and other botanicals from the El Arca farm and ferment them with honey harvested from our  hives to produce award-winning meads and beers.

During the hour-long guided tasting, you'll sample unique and distinct meads and beers that showcase a wide variety of flavors and styles. We are sure that after this tasting, you will develop a greater appreciation for mead, the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world.

On the one-hour tour, during which you will learn how Costa Rica Meadery uses ingredients sourced from the El Arca farm to create internationally award-winning beers, honey wines, and meads. You will also enjoy a guided walk through the beautiful botanical garden.

Finally, your experience will conclude with lunch at El Arca Restaurant, with specialties in gourmet cuisine "From the garden to your table" and with a new menu every week.

The tasting begins and ends at the entrance of the Costa Rica Meadery winery, located inside El Arca. Use the lower entrance (the white door) to enter The Ark. If the white door is closed, please call +506 2269-8166 and request that the door be opened.

- The tasting is for adults, over 18 years old.
- Accessible for wheelchairs.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers.
- This experience requires a minimum of two travelers. The tasting will be canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event if the minimum is not met. If the tasting is cancelled, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. If you are traveling alone, please confirm before you arrive that the minimum has been met.
